LaDuca Diversity & Inclusion Consultant
It is with great pleasure that I join the Laduca team as a Diversity & Inclusion Consultant.
As people march across the globe in support of the Black Lives Matter Movement, we are reminded of the importance unity plays in strengthening communities. This most assuredly includes the industry we all cherish: the performing arts.
Inspired to address this needed, progressive change, I approached LaDuca Shoes, as I believed I could assist them in creating language and content that supported and reflected the feelings of people of color and the BIPOC community.
In addition to being a professional dancer I am an NYU graduate with a degree in Economics & Performing Arts Management. In May 2019, I presented my colloquium on “The Economics of the Performing Arts Industry: Commercial Theatre & Concert Dance.” I have worked hand-in-hand with American Ballet Theatre (ABT) since 2018, proudly a recipient of their Project Plié Scholarship, and most recently as an Assistant Manager of Marketing.
I feel my dance background, marketing, and D&I experience will further assist me in my ability to listen, learn and act. I am very excited to represent the BIPOC community in bringing my thoughts and ideas to LaDuca Shoes as together, we strive to create a more diverse field of acceptance in the arts and beyond.
